“Homebase & Emerica proudly premiere “Stay Gold” to the 610 at the Bethlehem Skateplaz with the help of our friends at Stoketoberfest & Movies, Games & More* who will be providing a HUGE inflatable outdoor screen and sound system. We will be taking voluntary donations for the Bethlehem Skateplaza before the video plays so come wit ha few extra bucks to help us put money in the bank for Phase 2. ”

If you read skate mags (like any over the last 4 years) you know this team and this video are not to be missed. Consider this a cooler drive-in with out the cars, stale popcorn,and mandatory charge (but you will donate, right?) Its going to be Banger central between the Vid and the Best Trick Contest. All I can say is the usual ,Don’t miss it and see you there.

I first met Andy Colbert while skating at Moser Elementary School,right before filming for ‘Kill The Filmer’ got into full swing. After a short talk about some common friends and a good skate, We quickly became great friends. Andy and I shared a house during a exciting era. In that time Andy filmed himself a video part, finished school at Kutztown, helped bring a new appreciation of art into our house, and with his infectious laugh he quickly became a great foil to my sarcastic humor. Andy has since gone on to graduate from Rutgers and work on multiple Sol LeWitt projects, currently on one in NYC.

Andy has always impressed me with his connection to art , From history ,to technic , his knowledge from the Guggenheim to the streets, and his willingness to share it. From Skateboarding to Art to his current assault on the blog world, Andy embodies the term “Get Up”.

The LVAN and Homebase are proud to present Andrew Colbert’s solo show entitled “Faces and Places”. Opening on Friday June 5th from 7 till 10 pm at Homebase

I’m personally very excited about Andy showing with us and I encourage you all to stop out to the opening. It’s gonna be a fun night.

Last Saturday ,Andy Colbert and I were invited to help the Audio Dynamikz Crew and Friends bring in Spring ‘propa. The spot was jumpin ALL NIGHT and the crowd kept it SO hot that Spring has had a hard time comparing, but trust, the Summa’ heat is just around the corner. Enjoy your hoodies while you still can.

Since we couldn’t use aerosol in the club (without knocking people out like Mike) we prepped at the Warehouse

Add some stencils for flair, and it was time to break it down. Nothing left to do but skate for the afternoon with the New Jersey homies that came to town for the get down.

The crowd was wall to wall and love was in the air , thanks for the drinks.

The Audio Dynamikz DJ Crew hosts the hottest and most consistent parties in the Valley (act like you know.) Comprised of CapCee, DJ SweetLife, the bulletin posting DJ Cyn, and my family DJ Express. They come from and have always supported the skateboard and art communities.

Join the AD crew Saturday March 21 ,as they welcome Spring in proper, again. Last year I was invited to paint while they rocked and it was a great experience. When ADC said they wanted to step it up, how could I say no. It ends up they have a new bigger venue and invited me to colab with one of my biggest inspirations in art and one of my best friends, Andy Colbert. See you there.
